ETC Saleswoman with Trade Partner in Kitchen

For Builders, Architects, Designers, AND PROPERTY MANAGERS

We work for the people whose reputations are on the line

The technology in a house is either planned or it's absorbed. Absorbed means conduit that wasn't run, a rack with nowhere to live, speakers cut into a ceiling somebody spent months detailing, and a change order in month nine that nobody wanted to write.

It also means a system that becomes somebody else's problem the day the owner moves in and it is usually the person managing the property.

We'd rather be in the room earlier than that. Not to add scope, but to remove the problems that surface when low-voltage is the last trade to be asked, and the ones that surface years afterward.

How We Work With You

We work inside your drawings

We don't propose changes to a design to accommodate equipment. We find the solution that fits what you've drawn and when there's a real conflict, you hear it early, while it's still a conversation and not a demo.

We flag what affects your trades

Ceiling, wall, millwork, framing, structure. If something we need changes what somebody else is building, that goes to you in writing before it goes into the field.

We hold your schedule

Integration sequences around framing, rough-in, drywall, and finish. We show up when we said, and we don't become the reason a walkthrough slips.

We manage our seams

Millwork, lighting, electrical, and AV rarely fail on their own. They fail where they meet. We own ours, and we coordinate the rest rather than waiting to be coordinated.

What You Get

  • Drawings and device schedules in a format your team can actually use

  • Load calculations and power requirements early enough to matter

  • One point of contact through the life of the project

  • Conduit, blocking, and backing requirements before framing, not after

  • Equipment locations resolved with real ventilation and real access

  • Documentation at closeout that the next contractor can read

Design Details We Solve For

Trimless and flush-mount fixtures. Recessed shade pockets and concealed stack-backs. Invisible speakers under drywall. Keypads engraved, finished, and placed to hold the symmetry of a wall. Cameras and access points that land where they read as part of the building.

Technology that's visible should look deliberate. That's a design outcome, and it's decided in the drawings.

A Recent One

On two adjacent waterfront homes in Boca Raton, the builder needed both properties integrated simultaneously without either one slipping. Partway through, one house changed designers and brought new fixture and interface specifications. This is the kind of change that usually breaks a schedule. But with ETC Florida at the helm, both homes were delivered on the original date, performing identically.

For Property Managers, ESTATE MANAGERS and Owners' Reps

You're the one who gets the call. Not the builder, not the designer — you. Usually on a Friday, usually about something that should have been designed differently three years ago.

We answer directly

Call the office and reach someone who can see the system from here. Most issues under a service agreement get diagnosed remotely, and a good share get fixed before anyone in the house notices.

We build for the tenth year

Redundancy where failure would be disruptive, equipment specified to be serviceable rather than replaced, and documentation the next contractor can read. A system that only one person understands is a liability, and we don't build those.

We handle houses that sit empty

Pre-arrival visits so the system is checked and running before anyone lands. Departure visits to set the house down properly. Remote monitoring for the months in between checking in when water is where it shouldn't be, power is lost and restored, a camera that's stopped reporting is synced back online.

We're on the list after a storm

Power comes back unevenly and systems don't always come back with it. Response order follows service program level, and properties on agreements are handled before the phone starts ringing.

We coordinate with your other vendors

Pool, landscape, security, IT. Most of what breaks in a connected house breaks at the boundary between two vendors, and we'd rather sort that out with them than send you a report explaining it wasn't us.

Nearly Four Decades of Working Alongside Trades

Most of our work comes from builders and designers who've used us more than once. Offices in West Palm Beach and Vero Beach, serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.

Have a Project — or a Property?

Builders, architects, and designers: send the drawings. We'll tell you what we'd flag and where we'd want to be involved.

Property managers: tell us about the property and what's installed, as best you know it. We service systems we didn't put in.
